Summer   Camps & Regional Youth Commission

 

Summer Camps volunteers work to design and implement a camping program for the 21st century that shapes and equips the participants to minister in a changing church and world.  The Summer Camps team ensures adequate staff training and the best possible programs while making faithful and effective use of resources.

Equipping and shaping, nurturing and celebrating the faith formation and leadership development of youth and young adults are the tasks of the Regional Youth Commission program (RYC).  The Regional Youth Commission is a group of about fifteen high-school aged young people and their Adult Sponsors.  These young leaders participate on the Board of Directors and plan annual events, such as Winter Retreats.
