Our congregations can be found in Washington, Alaska, and Northern Idaho. Our Region has a rich heritage ministering to and with its congregations, neighbors, and the world. Our congregations are diverse, vibrant, and seek to serve God’s work in the world.

Our Mission

 
Called by God and sent by the Living Christ, we the Northwest Regional Christian Church intentionally engage with one another rejoicing in our diversity and shared gifts, deepening our spiritual life, building true community, acting courageously in ministry and mission, and sharing God’s good news with a fresh voice and a new song.  We seek to “do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)

There are about 60 Disciples congregations in the Northwest Region. They work together through a partnership called the Region to offer:
 

• Vision for what we (congregations and Region) can do together, serving God and proclaiming good news in the world;
• Ministry from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth through our connections with Disciples Global Ministry and Week of Compassion;
• Outdoor Ministry (church camp) for children and youth;
• Crisis Care for Pastors and Congregations;
• Relocation Assistance to Congregations Seeking a Minister;
• Relocation Assistance to Ministers Seeking a new call;
• Nurture and Oversight for those answering a call to ministry through seminary training for ordination or licensed ministry for a specific congregation.
